Great to meet you!

Sometimes it can feel like you're carrying more than anyone realizes. Perhaps anxiety keeps your mind racing, depression makes even simple tasks feel exhausting, or relationships that once brought comfort have become a source of stress. You may be navigating a difficult loss, struggling with changes in your physical health, or facing an important life transition that has left you feeling uncertain about what comes next. I work with adults and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, end of life concerns, grief or loss, and relationship issues. These challenges can also overlap with bipolar disorder, stress management, or physical health concerns, especially when emotional struggles and everyday responsibilities begin affecting one another. With 11 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported through whatever life brings. Together, we can explore what's been weighing on you, recognize your strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping that help you feel more grounded, connected, and hopeful about the future.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are today and the relationships, losses, transitions, and experiences that have shaped your life. We'll explore how anxiety, depression, end of life concerns, grief or loss, and relationship issues may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and connections with others. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, while Solution Focused Brief Therapy can help us identify your existing strengths and turn meaningful goals into practical, achievable steps. I may also draw from Motivational Interviewing to help you explore change at your own pace, especially when you're feeling uncertain about what comes next or how to move forward. Positive Psychology and Strength Based approaches can help you recognize the resilience, abilities, and personal resources you already possess, even when difficult experiences make those strengths harder to see. Whether you're navigating a significant loss, adjusting to changes in your health, or working through challenges in your relationships, our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your individual needs. My goal is to balance meaningful self-exploration with practical strategies that help you find greater emotional balance, connection, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

You deserve a space where you can feel genuinely understood, supported, and comfortable sharing even the most difficult parts of your experience. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we'll establish meaningful goals that reflect your needs, values, and experiences while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect me to bring warmth, affirmation, and thoughtful encouragement to our conversations while creating an environment where you feel safe discussing difficult emotions, relationships, loss, or major life changes without judgment. Progress may look like feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety, reconnecting with yourself when depression feels heavy, finding ways to carry grief while honoring what you've lost, navigating end of life concerns with greater peace, or strengthening communication and connection in your relationships. We'll continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work based on what feels most helpful, helping you move forward with greater emotional balance, self-awareness, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's transitions.
