Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Emily Nguyen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and have experience working with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, as well as those working through trauma and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I often use a blend of CBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care to help clients build coping skills, process emotions, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you can show up as your authentic self while working toward meaningful change. Together, we’ll focus on building insight, resilience, and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, goals, and what support looks like for you. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe sharing at your own pace. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and a plan that feels right for you.
