Great to meet you!

I'm Emily, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts specializing in the emotional complexity of infertility, maternal mental health, and women's wellness. I came to this work not just through training, but through lived experience - my path to motherhood involved fertility treatments, uncertainty, and the kind of hope-and-grief that only people who've been through it truly understand. I'm now a mom of twins, the result of an infertility journey that was longer and more complex than I could have ever imagined. That experience informs the therapist I am today. Whatever brought you here, you deserve support that meets you exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

I use relational and CBT-based approaches to help you process your experience, articulate your experience, and rebuild your sense of self. Some sessions are structured; others follow where you need to go. I work with women navigating IVF, pregnancy loss, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts after becoming a parent, and the grief that can live quietly underneath even joyful milestones. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling less alone and more equipped.

What you can expect from me

The first session is just a conversation. I'll ask you what brought you here and what you're hoping therapy might change, and I'll listen without rushing to solutions. You don't need to have it figured out before you arrive. Many of my clients say they didn't know how much they needed to talk to someone who truly understands this specific journey until we started. Our first session is also a chance for you to see if I'm the right fit for you - that matters to me. All sessions are virtual, so you can join from wherever feels comfortable.
