Great to meet you!

Therapy is truly a passion of mine. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where you feel comfortable exploring vulnerable and challenging parts of your life without fear of judgment. I believe healing happens when people feel both supported and empowered.

I earned my Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work and bring a broad range of professional experience to my practice. My background includes running a foster home, advocating for survivors of sexual abuse, and working with veterans, young children, and adults across diverse settings. These experiences have shaped my trauma-informed, compassionate approach to care.

I am EMDR-trained and integrate trauma-focused work with strengths-based and insight-oriented approaches. I’m passionate about getting to the root of patterns and experiences that may be impacting you today, while also helping you recognize and build on the strengths you already possess.

Whether you are navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, or longstanding emotional patterns, I aim to partner with you in meaningful, lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. I believe change happens when we feel deeply understood but also gently encouraged to grow. In our work together, we’ll slow down enough to truly understand what you’ve been carrying, while also helping you move toward the life you want to live.

As an EMDR-trained clinician, I support clients in processing painful or unresolved experiences so they no longer feel as heavy or overwhelming. At the same time, I’ll help you reconnect with your strengths, your voice, and your sense of agency. Therapy with me is a space for both healing and empowerment — where you don’t have to do it alone.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take time to review important details such as the benefits and potential risks of therapy, limits of confidentiality, your rights as a client, the cancellation policy, and any needs or accommodations that would help you feel comfortable. I’m genuinely interested in getting to know you as a whole person—not just what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and I’ll explain my therapeutic approach and how I work to build a trusting, supportive relationship where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and informed, with a clear understanding of what therapy with me can offer.
