Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, families, and behavioral healthcare professionals. My work includes complex trauma, suicidality, self-harm, high-acuity mental health challenges, and secondary trauma among those who care for others. I bring curiosity, warmth, transparency, kindness, and humor to help people understand the connection between their minds, bodies, and trauma responses. I believe therapy is a partnership grounded in safety, authenticity, and understanding. I want you to feel safe being your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I believe connection is at the heart of healing, and I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, transparency, kindness, and genuine curiosity. I’m passionate about helping people understand how trauma can affect both the mind and body, including our emotions, behaviors, relationships, and nervous system. Together, we’ll explore these connections, build tools for regulation and resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. My goal is for therapy to feel like a partnership where you feel seen, understood, and supported—not judged or told what to do.

What you can expect from me

The first step is connection. Our first session will focus on getting to know you—not just your symptoms or challenges, but you. I’ll approach our time together with curiosity, warmth, and genuine openness as we begin building trust and rapport. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to change, and what you need from me as your therapist. You don’t need to come in with all the answers. We’ll figure it out together.
