Emily believes in the inherent worth of all individuals and strives to bring this out in her clients through a practice based on compassion, empowerment, and healing. Emily currently works with children, teenagers and adults. Her specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, and eating disorders. Emily has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California and is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.

My approach to therapy

Emily believes that the best therapeutic work is done when an individual feels safe, deeply heard, and appreciated for who they are at their core. It is with this belief that Emily incorporates essential core values into her work including shame resiliency, self-empowerment, creativity, mindfulness, spirituality, and authenticity. Emily utilizes a variety of modalities in her practice including EMDR, Mindfulness, CBT, Strength-based, ACT, Play Therapy, DBT, IFS, and Faith Based Counseling.
