Great to meet you!

I have several years experience counseling adults, couples and children in a variety of settings including community mental health, IHT, school based counseling and private practice. I specialize in treating couples, anxiety, depression, ADHD and adjustment to life transitions. My education includes a masters degree in counseling psychology from Assumption College and a master of science from B.U. with a concentration in neuroscience.

My approach to therapy

Evidence based practices (CBT, DBT, EFT) are the basis for my treatment for adjustment to life transitions. I strive to create a warm and respectful atmosphere where we can work collaboratively towards goals of counseling. I will help to tailor an agreed upon plan to work on goals of wellness that fit your unique situation. With a compassionate approach, I use EFT couples therapy to help couples identify negative patterns that may be pushing their bond further apart.

What you can expect from me

After a comprehensive intake that involves gathering of background information and history, clients can expect to have a collaborative plan for goals of counseling. Using evidence based practices, within weeks clients can expect to find improvement in symptoms, greater insight and better strategies in order to meet the challenges that bring them to counseling.
