Great to meet you!

I’m Emily, a licensed psychotherapist and Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in healthcare from Aurora University. I have extensive experience across various levels of care—including inpatient psychiatric settings, residential treatment, PHP/IOP, and community mental health—I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals facing co-occurring disorders, addiction, eating disorders, and trauma.

Through my work with complex cases, I have observed that many challenges are deeply rooted in trauma and systemic issues.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I foster a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their emotions, uncover the origins of their challenges, and embark on a path toward transformation and resilience. Together, we can work towards achieving your personal goals and enhancing your overall well being.

What you can expect from me

Choosing to engage in counseling is a courageous step toward personal growth and emotional healing. It signifies a recognition of the need for support and a readiness to navigate the intricacies of one’s inner world. This journey requires self-compassion, as it involves confronting vulnerabilities, acknowledging past experiences, and opening oneself to the possibility of positive change.
