Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York with 8 years of postgraduate experience primarily in hospital-based settings, including crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatry for adults and geriatrics, and outpatient psychotherapy with Veterans, I specialize in both individual and group psychotherapy with a sharp clinical focus on trauma-informed care. My passion lies in helping individuals heal from the invisible wounds of trauma—whether it stems from a singular event or the cumulative impact of chronic toxic stress, such as complex childhood trauma or attachment injuries.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that each person is the expert on their own experience. I honor your right to self-determination and will always meet you where you are, offering clinical impressions with transparency and curiosity: Does this resonate with you?

I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Polyvagal Theory, tailoring each treatment plan to meet your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

I believe trauma and PTSD are often stigmatized and misunderstood in our society. That’s why I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation—helping my clients understand the neuroscience of trauma, how it impacts the brain and body, and how it shapes core beliefs, values, thoughts, and behaviors. Knowledge is power, and when we understand why we feel the way we do, we can begin to take meaningful steps toward healing.

Much of my work focuses on attachment trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and childhood sexual abuse. I consider it a deep privilege when someone trusts me enough to share the most vulnerable parts of themselves. Together, we work toward a life not diminished by unresolved trauma, but enriched by post-traumatic growth and renewed possibility.
