Great to meet you!

I am a licensed creative arts therapist with nine years of experience supporting a wide range of individuals struggling with emotional well-being. My career has included working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in medical settings, eating disorder clinics, and child welfare. This has supported my relationship-based lens. I believe having a supportive and nurturing relationship helps one navigate the complexities of life. I especially enjoy working with attachment and relationship concerns, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, and the emotional challenges that come with life's transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is deeply rooted in attachment, trauma, relationships, and social-emotional development with a particular interest in the relationships and experiences that shape us from our early childhood. My style of warm, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic, grounded in attachment theory, systems, theory, and reflective practice. I believe that feeling truly understood and having a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship can create the foundation for meaningful change. I work to meet you exactly where you are, without judgement or expectations.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect thoughful listening, gentle exploration, validation, and curiousity about the experiences that have shaped you. I may use questions and other reflective approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I also consider the ways family dynamics, cultue, environment, and larger systems can influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us. My work is focused on creating a space where you - or your child- can feel safe, seen, understood, and able to be your authentic self.
