Eminely Soberanis

Hi! My name is Eminely, go by Nely for short, and my goal as a therapist is to assist & provide awareness in your mental health journey. I have been licensed for over five years. I've worked with children & families with generational traumas and individuals with substance use disorders. My experience of working in the field has shaped the therapist & human being I am today. I plan to be your biggest support and ally while you navigate your healing and mental health journey.

I provide a safe non-judgmental space in therapy. I believe that having difficult and uncomfortable conversations about life obstacles, heartbreak, grief/loss, and all different types of traumatic experiences will lead to radical acceptance. I am here to support and guide you throughout your self-healing journey.

I use different modalities in therapy, including, CBT, trauma focused, psychodynamic, attachment, strengths based, DBT interventions & EMDR.

My biggest strength would be to teach to you to challenge ongoing negative thoughts that impact your mood & behaviors. Sometimes we are not aware that we can be our own worst critic. I am here to teach you to be aware negative self-talk & replace these thoughts to be neutral. This is just a gentle reminder that we all have childhood wounds that need healing & validation. Even as adults, we need to work on self-love, acceptance of things we can't change and increase use of healthy coping skills.
