Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am so glad you are here. My name is Emma. I am grateful for the opportunity to support you in your mental health and life journey. I received a Masters of Social Work in 2022, completed 3,000 hours of clinical work at the VA in 2025, and hold an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Illinois. I have experience working with people aged 14 to 89 and appreciate the gifts and hurdles that come with each phase of life. I use CBT and EMDR primarily, helping you to catch, check, and change your thoughts and behaviors while exploring your life experiences through a trauma informed lens. My goal is to help you feel safe and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I am honored to be present for your journey. My goal is to create a safe space, free of judgement, where you can feel heard. I appreciate how brave you are to share your story and am grateful to be with you during your darkest to brightest days. You are not alone and my hope is for you to feel warmth and compassion through our work together. I aim to empower you, walk along side you in your journey, and work with you to find solutions to help you not just survive, but thrive in your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I look forward to getting to know you. I will ask you questions about your upbringing, what is important to you in life, challenges you have experienced in the past and recently, and ways you’d like your life to change in the future. This session will be the first step in your healing journey and we will take time to lay the ground work, cultivating a safe space for rest, recovery, and growth.
