Great to meet you!

Hello! Welcome to my page, I’m excited you have decided to take the next step in your therapy goals! A bit about me is that I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of the Greater Rochester Collaborative (Nazareth University and SUNY Brockport). I have continued to work in the medical realm for the past 8+ years. I decided to pursue an 2nd Masters & completed my advanced training in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Rochester. I have worked extensively with children, teens, and families, including supporting school-avoidant youth and individuals navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I also now teach for my first Master’s program in our Social Work Graduate program as well!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a team & collaborative effort. It requires significant curiosity and exploring to make sure we have a good pathway that will both be aligned with your goals, feel manageable and challenge at the same time! I have a strong passion for working with couples and families, helping them strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. I am especially dedicated to supporting caregivers, including those involved in foster care or caring for children with trauma histories, empowering them to feel confident in how they show up for their families.

It’s important to recognize that meaningful growth often comes from sitting with discomfort rather than rushing to solutions. I truly strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and safe to explore their experiences. It’s truly a privilege to walk alongside clients in their journey, offering guidance while honoring their unique strengths and perspectives.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be overwhelming in many ways so I do strive to make sure that our initial sessions is focusing on getting to know you first. I don’t rush for solutions until I understand your needs, current and past, along with other aspects of your life that may be aiding or hindering you meeting your current goals.
