Great to meet you!

My name is Emma and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida as well as a graduate of Rollins College Master's of Arts in Mental Health Counseling program. I have been in the mental health field for nearly six years. Prior to graduate school, I started as a Crisis Counselor with 2-1-1, answering crisis and suicide calls and providing those in need with information and referrals to community resources. Since then, I have worked with adults and children in an inpatient hospital setting, college students in a college counseling clinic, and now teens, adults, and couples in a private practice setting.

My approach to therapy

In each setting I have worked in, I have found success utilizing a person-centered approach. With that in mind, I believe each person is unique and it is important to take the time to tailor the therapeutic approach to best fit the client's individual strengths, needs, and goals.

What you can expect from me

As a private practice clinician and the owner of Tranquil Mind Counseling LLC, it is my aim to help you work through your struggles with depression, anxiety, and/or interpersonal stressors, in order to create the life you deserve. My goal is to help you to identify and understand the patterns of behavior that have led to your feelings of distress. Only then can we implement goals to facilitate betterment of your life, and to teach and practice coping skills so that you may continue to utilize them long after therapy has ended.
