Emma DiMarco

I graduated in 1995 w/ my MSW from Fordham Univ & in 2004 attained my LCSW. I started my career working in Residential Tx for Adolescents; the Mission was reunification of families. The remainder of my career has been spent working in outpatient settings, providing individual/group/family therapy. I have worked in-depth w/ individuals struggling w/ anxiety, depression, & trauma within their interpersonal connections. I am dedicated to helping people understand themselves more fully & adequately.

I am trained in addiction, motivational interviewing,& integrated mental health. I work with adolescents/adults/families, helping them to address & overcome their fears/struggles and assisting them in developing healthy connections & skilled tools. I provide personalized care & start where the client is at, utilizing strategies/modalities appropriate for each individual’s set of circumstances. I will focus on your strengths and create a better sense of well-being.

I have always utilized a client-centered approach, as you are the only person who can determine your goals & desired accomplishments for the future. I will guide you in discovering what brought you into therapy by exploring what barriers have been presented in your life. We will learn appropriate coping skills to overcome those barriers, which will allow you to move forward in achieving your goals.
