Great to meet you!

Three ideas are at the heart of my work: You are not the problem; the problem is the problem; the problem is not yours alone to solve. Therapy with me is a space for you to explore and be affirmed in your identity, while understanding the ways you came to be and are still becoming.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Narrative therapy and liberation psychology guide my practice - finding pathways towards healing from the dehumanizing effects of systemic oppression. I am drawn to working with people experiencing life transition, who are in movement or who want to be. This could mean many things (i.e. loss, separation, coming out, building community). Through conversation and connection we'll develop deeper meaning around these transitions.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I'll attend to your pace, though I may challenge you to think in ways you haven’t considered before. Over time, my clients and I find ourselves experiencing our lives with more alignment and intention.
