Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, earning my MSW at Simmons University with Advanced Standing designation. After starting my career as a social worker in numerous medical settings, I wanted to begin shifting my focus toward long term healing with clients . I now support clients with a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. Additionally, I am W-PATH trained and certified in providing assessments and letters of advocacy for gender-affirming surgery.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a trauma-informed, person-in-environment origin, that recognizes the importance of both individual and systemic factors that influence a person's well-being and behavior. There is no "one size fits all" approach to addressing mental health concerns, so I adopt techniques from varying practice modalities to best meet the needs of each individual client. I believe that each client is the expert in their own lives, and I hope to walk along side my clients on their journey to healing and self discovery by providing non-judgmental, compassionate, occasionally humorous, and trauma-informed guidance.

What you can expect from me

I aim to have our sessions be conversational, where you and I will work together to pull on the threads that are interwoven in your history and present day story and experiences. I want you to be at ease sharing your thoughts in an environment that feels more casual than clinical.
