Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. I use an evidence-based, collaborative approach including DBT and somatic-informed methods. I work exclusively via tele-health and am licensed in Virginia. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and can build the skills to live more fully.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and somatic awareness. I meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to what works best for each individual. I believe therapy works best when it's practical, honest, and focused on real change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, what you've tried before, and what you're hoping for. By the end, we'll have a shared sense of direction and you'll have a feel for whether we're a good fit. I want you to leave feeling heard, not overwhelmed.
