Great to meet you!

I begin from a place of unconditional positive regard and want my office to be a place where you can share anything without judgment. This goes for anything and everything, whether it is taboo, dark, or otherwise unmentionable in so called ‘pleasant company.’ Mr. Rogers was wise as ever when he said, “Anything that is human is mentionable and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable.” It is my job to make anything feel ‘mentionable’ in my office.

My approach to therapy

One of the most powerful parts of therapy is perspective-shifting and meaning making and my top goal is to help you change the way you think. We start by talking about what is going on in your day-to-day, then dive deeper into themes and patterns in your life. I focus on you as a person, not a "diagnosis" and you will be actively engaged while I guide and prompt you with the right questions at the right time!

What you can expect from me

We will make sense of the world together so that you can achieve your highest potential and true contentment. I use metaphors and maybe a couple of silly, yet sincere jokes that stick with you and make you think between our sessions. I will not often give you worksheets, but I may pose a thought experiment.
