Great to meet you!

I have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo. I specialize in individual and couple's therapy. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and am EMDR certified.

My approach to therapy

I am a passionate lifelong learner and enjoy studying counseling theories and research. Some of the types of therapy that influence my style are Cognitive Behavioral, Relational Life Therapy (Terry Real), the Gottman Method for couples, and Schema Therapy. I especially enjoy using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help patients discover their own truths - these are always so much more powerful.

What you can expect from me

I try to create a space for you to reflect on your experiences so you can better understand them, and so you can process them - working through difficult emotions in order to reach acceptance and peace.
