Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Emma Ocampo, LMFT. I am a bilingual Latina licensed mental health therapist who provides services in both English and Spanish. I have over six years of therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade in areas such as substance abuse treatment, residential care, Wraparound services, and community mental health.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), which guide my evidence-based approach to care.

My approach to therapy

My practice is grounded in compassion and strengths-based principles, and I firmly believe in client voice and choice. I believe that meeting clients where they are supports the therapeutic process and helps guide clients toward achieving their goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a gentle, collaborative conversation designed to help you feel grounded and understood. We’ll take time to explore what brings you in, learn about your experiences, and get a sense of what support will feel most helpful for you. This includes a thoughtful assessment to share a bit about your story. Together, we’ll begin shaping a treatment plan that reflects your goals, your strengths, and the kind of change you want to create in your life.
