Emma Picciano

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a main specialty providing counseling to children, teens and young adults/ college students (roughly ages 5-30). I help my clients in managing struggles of anxiety, depression, trauma/ PTSD, college stressors, self esteem, relationship and interpersonal conflicts, and emotion regulation.

Therapy should be a place you feel safe, supported and heard. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable space where we can work together and develop appropriate tools to feel confident and empowered in all phases of life!

For children and teens understanding the many developmental stages of life is important. I believe they should have a positive, nonjudgmental space to express themselves through play, art, or simply talking through thoughts and feelings. Together, we will develop healthy tools for the child and their parents in order to gain confidence tackling big emotions.
