Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Emma, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Trauma Studies from Pacific Oaks College. I am EMDR trained and am currently working toward training in ERP to support the treatment of OCD and other anxiety-related disorders. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals while helping them build insight, coping skills, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach and work to create a space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and understood. My style is warm, direct, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, OCD, and relationship challenges, and I integrate approaches such as EMDR, trauma-informed care, and behavioral interventions into my work. I also value helping clients build practical coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier patterns in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we will begin getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any questions or concerns you may have about the therapy process. My approach is collaborative and paced according to your comfort level, with the goal of establishing a strong therapeutic relationship where trust is a key part of the healing process. The first session is also an opportunity for you to determine whether we feel like a good fit working together while creating a plan that feels supportive and manageable.
