Great to meet you!

As a therapist with a clinical background in social work, I use collaborative, client-centered approaches to help you identify what feels most meaningful and supportive in your healing process. I commonly work with people who experience depression, grief and loss, trauma, low self-worth, substance use challenges and the emotional weight of burnout or existential distress. I also work with clients navigating significant life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-exploration and identity work.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate CBT, ACT, EFT, SFT and explore meaning through narrative and psychodynamic approaches. While I'm primarily a talk therapist, I also draw from mindfulness and somatic approaches to help strengthen body awareness and grounding techniques. I use a client-centered approach, adapting therapy to each person's unique needs and goals, with regular check-ins to ensure our work is aligned with what matter most to the client. My approach is affirming and welcoming, honoring clients' gender, sexuality, cultural and racial identities. Clients in the past have also expressed appreciation for our use of humor at times, when discussing absurdities of life.

What you can expect from me

Wherever you are in your growth process, I'd love to meet you there and support you in finding healthy ways to navigate current challenges. I strive to create a space where we feel more curious than critical while exploring thoughts and emotions, coping tools and decision-making. Rather than to "fix" or perfect you, we'll explore unwanted patterns that may have once served you and find new approaches that reflect your current values and goals. Through working together, you may expect to develop more self-compassion, acceptance and authenticity, and empowerment to support you in showing up more fully. Not just going through the motions, but living with intention and presence. If you have interest in seeing if we may be a good fit to work together, please call or email to set up a free 15-min consultation or an initial appointment.
