Great to meet you!

Emma is a therapist dedicated to helping clients who struggle with controlling fears, worries, or unwanted thoughts. She has a collaborative approach and is always centered around client's comfort first and foremost. She combines psychodynamic, ERP, ACT and mindfulness skills to compassionately help clients find comfort in their lives again.

My approach to therapy

Do you have recurring unwanted thoughts that are difficult to shake? Observing that can be distressing, but you are not alone. My practice is focused around helping clients to address their fears and decrease intrusive thoughts. Many of my clients express wanting to be free from repeating behaviors that feel unmanageable. I address both symptoms with Exposure and Response Prevention therapy. For those who want to challenge patterns of behavior in relationships I engage collaboratively with psychodynamic therapy.

What you can expect from me

It is important to me for connection to come first with clients. What you think about treatment always matters most so all goals will be set together. I am extremely open to feedback and adapt my approach based on what is best for clients. You always have a voice in our sessions! Humor is also welcome and encouraged.
