Great to meet you!

As a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in medical and community-based settings, I have supported people coping with chronic medical conditions, aging-related changes, and intimate partner violence. Having lived, traveled, and worked in a diversity of regions throughout my early adulthood and career, I have built strong relationships with people from all walks of life. These experiences have informed my perspective and values as a professional and a human.

My approach to therapy

I view you as the expert on your life experiences and needs, and myself as a non-judgmental adviser and holder of hope on your healing journey. I approach each session with curiosity, realness, and humility. My therapeutic interventions are rooted in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and attachment theories and I value and support the exploration of intersecting identities and existential concerns. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space as we face life's challenges together.

What you can expect from me

Our initial session is for getting to know each other and identifying the main focus areas of our work together. Are you looking for shorter term support in addressing a particular relationship or stressor? Perhaps you are feeling stuck in anxiety or low energy and need a gentle nudge to “get moving” on something. Or maybe you prefer to view therapy as a more gradual, exploratory process. Regardless of our focus, my hope is that you will leave each session feeling both challenged and nurtured.
