Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist whose passion, knowledge, and expertise has been from working with women from many different backgrounds and walks of life. I received my masters in counseling from Pennsylvania Western University and have spent the last two years working with nurses and nursing students. Prior to that, I have spent many years working with youth and young adult women in psychiatric and hospital settings providing specialized care and support with grief/loss, relationship and familial issues, life changes, and general life exploration.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and the belief that healing happens when we create space to better understand ourselves—mind, body, and the many parts that make us who we are.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adlerian theory, and psychoanalytic approaches to help clients explore the beliefs, patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape how they see themselves and move through the world. I believe that asking why can be just as important as asking what.

At the heart of my work is the belief that you are not broken. You are not too much. You are not too little. You may simply have never been given the space, safety, curiosity, or guidance to discover yourself on your own terms. My work is about creating that space. And I'm here, ready to do the work when you are.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an introduction into your world! It's a time where we can establish what you are wanting out of this experience, answer any questions you may have for me, and to begin creating that safe space that is necessary for us to dive into the real work together.
