Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Emmanuel Anigwe, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Texas and California. I believe mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your treatment journey.

With over 10 years of combined nursing and advanced practice experience, I provide evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. I combine medication management with supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies to help patients achieve lasting improvement.

My approach to therapy

Every individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. During our first appointment, we'll discuss your concerns, personal history, treatment goals, and any previous experiences with therapy or medications. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

I value open communication and shared decision-making, ensuring you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and progress every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my priority is getting to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, your medical and mental health history, previous treatments, medications, family history, lifestyle, and the goals you'd like to achieve.

I'll conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand your needs and, if appropriate, discuss possible diagnoses and evidence-based treatment options. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals to additional resources when needed.
