Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and I focus on using medications thoughtfully, safely, and only when clinically appropriate. I believe mental health care should be respectful, non-judgmental, and empowering, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard and supported.

I value education and transparency, ensuring you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes. My goal is not just symptom relief, but long-term stability, improved functioning, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe in meeting each client where they are and taking the time to truly listen and understand their experiences, concerns, and goals. Care is never one-size-fits-all.

I focus on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and thoughtful medication management, using the least intrusive and most effective treatments possible. When medication is indicated, I emphasize safety, education, and close monitoring to ensure the best outcomes.

I value open communication, shared decision-making, and transparency throughout the treatment process. I work collaboratively with clients, and when appropriate, with therapists and other healthcare providers—to support long-term stability, improved functioning, and overall mental well-being.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we focus on getting to know you. We will review your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and any prior mental health treatment to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

I will complete a psychiatric assessment, discuss possible diagnoses, and review treatment options, including whether medication may be appropriate. You will have time to ask questions, share your goals, and participate actively in decisions about your care.

By the end of the session, we will outline a personalized treatment plan and discuss next steps, including follow-up visits and ongoing support. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about your care plan.
