Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience. I began my nursing career in 2011 and have had the privilege of working in a variety of healthcare settings, including the operating room, ICU, medical-surgical units, nursing and rehabilitation centers, memory care, and psychiatric hospitals. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of patient care and have shaped my commitment to treating each person as a whole-not just focusing on a diagnosis.

I earned my BSN nursing education from Grand Canyon University in 2020 and completed my graduate education, MSN, at Walden University in 2024. My practice focuses on providing compassionate, holistic care for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. I provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacological treatment while working collaboratively with my clients to develop individualized treatment plans that support their mental, emotional, and overall well-being.

My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and judgement-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and involved in your care. I believe that healing is a partnership, and I’m here to walk alongside you throughout that journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four beautiful children. One of my favorite ways to relax is going to the beach, sitting by the water, feeling the breeze, and listening to the sound of the waves. Those simple moments remind me of the importance of peace, balance, and taking care of ourselves.

I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey toward better mental health and wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are more than a diagnosis. Your story, experiences, relationships, environment, and hopes for the future all matter when it comes to your mental health.

My approach is compassionate, holistic care, and personalized. I take the time to listen, understand your unique needs, and work with you to create a treatment plan that feels meaningful and achievable. Your safety well-being are always at the heart of your care, including support for times of crisis when needed.

My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and judgement-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we can work toward healing, greater balance and healthier quality of life

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a change for us to get to know each other in a calm, supportive, and judgement-free environment. We’ll take time to complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and understand your unique concerns.

Together, we’ll explore your symptoms and gently untangle overlapping concerns by considering biological, psychological, and environmental factors. You’ll be an active part of the screening and assessment process, and we’ll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan. When appropriate, care may be coordinated with your other healthcare providers.

There is no pressure to make immediate decisions. You’ll have time to ask question, understand your options, and move forward at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Your privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and safety will remain central to your care
