Great to meet you!

I specialize in working at the intersection of queer & trans identities, neurodivergence, and experiences of interpersonal violence. In my work with clients, I center identity, expression, creativity, and empowerment to partner with clients to help them meet their goals.

My background includes medical crisis work, including case management and counseling for survivors of interpersonal violence, and I completed my residency as a Supervisee in Social Work at the Properties of Light which specialized in autistic, ADHD, queer, and trans individuals. I completed my M.S.W at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic approach, specialized for each individual client including traditional and nontraditional modalities. Traditional modalities used include IFS, ACT, DBT, somatics, and attachment-based theories. I am a good fit for queer and trans individuals, autistic, ADHD, and/or PDA autistic youth and adults, survivors of interpersonal violence, those with chronic health conditions, and those open to nontraditional therapy approaches such as art, play, movement, and storytelling. I use an interest-based approach incorporating client interests into tailoring my work with clients. I offer virtual and in-person sessions in Richmond, VA and primarily work with youth and adults 6+.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming approach. We will gather background information about your needs in therapy and partner together to collaborate on creating your individual goals. I prioritize an empowerment-based and collaborative approach with clients in sessions, and after the first session, aim to include your feedback in our continued work together.
