Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner working across various psychiatric settings. My experience includes providing care to individuals with diverse mental health needs across different levels of care. I provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric services, including comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health challenges. My approach is collaborative and individualized, with a focus on creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and actively involved in their care. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with understanding the whole person and working together to develop a plan that supports meaningful and lasting improvement in overall well-being and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I take time to listen and understand each client’s concerns, experiences, and treatment goals without judgment. I believe treatment should be individualized, so I work closely with clients to develop a plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle support, and coordination with therapy when appropriate. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their mental health care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, respectful, and judgment-free space where you can openly discuss your concerns. We will review your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, life experiences, and treatment goals. Together, we will identify your priorities and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication, therapy recommendations, or other supportive strategies. I want you to leave your first visit feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
