Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Enitan Marcelle, and it is so lovely to meet you. I am a licensed psychologist in NY state with specialized training in neuropsychology; my work supports neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, including those with attention or executive functioning difficulties, learning differences, and autistic traits. Through assessment, therapy, and collaboration with schools and workplaces, I aim to guide my clients in understanding themselves and their brains in order to build effective skills and thrive in daily life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered on working towards understanding strengths while also navigating what feels challenging. My style is integrative, drawing from many therapy forms (including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy - DBT, and Parent Management Training - PMT) in order flexibly to support meaningful growth. Because support often is required beyond the therapy room, I also offer collaboration with parents, partners, schools, or workplaces, if and when it feels helpful and comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me includes a discussion of the challenges that bring you to therapy at this time, as well as of any previous experiences (positive or negative) with mental healthcare. We will also spend time discussing the people and systems that may be contributing to your current difficulties, as well as those that provide support or stability. By the end of our first session we will begin outlining an initial plan for treatment, and identify practical ways to monitor your progress over time.
