Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a deep clinical background as a foreign-trained physician from Cuba. Currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), I am dedicated to providing high-level, evidence-based psychiatric care. I am fully bilingual (English/Spanish), allowing me to offer culturally competent care to a diverse range of patients. My mission is to bridge the gap in mental health services by providing compassionate, expert care that respects each individual's unique background

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in a comprehensive, 'whole-person' philosophy. Drawing from my extensive medical training and nursing focus, I blend advanced medication management with a deep understanding of the biological and psychosocial factors affecting mental health. I believe in a collaborative, patient-centered model where communication is key. Whether we are speaking in English or Spanish, I ensure that my patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options, fostering a partnership built on trust and clinical excellence.

What you can expect from me

During our initial consultation, you can expect a thorough and welcoming evaluation conducted in your preferred language (English or Spanish). We will discuss your history, current challenges, and goals in detail. Because of my background in both medicine and nursing, I take a very detailed approach to diagnostic clarity. You will walk away from our first meeting with a clear, personalized treatment plan and the confidence that you are being heard by a provider who values both clinical precision and cultural empathy.
