Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that I care about being real, present, and helpful, not just saying the right clinical words. I work hard to understand what people are actually struggling with beneath the surface, and I want treatment to feel meaningful, honest, and useful in real life. I value accountability, growth, and emotional safety, and I try to balance direct feedback with compassion and respect. Most of all, I want clients to feel that I take their pain seriously, believe change is possible, and will stay engaged in helping them move forward.

My approach to therapy

Understanding the unique needs of my potential clients is at the core of my practice. I firmly believe that everyone's journey is distinct, and their challenges, while universal in some ways, demand personalized attention. My commitment to providing a tailored approach sets me apart. I take the time to truly listen, empathize, and collaborate closely with clients to develop strategies that align with their specific circumstances and aspirations.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to focus on getting to know them, understanding what is bringing them into treatment, and starting to build a sense of comfort and trust. They can expect questions about their current struggles, history, symptoms, substance use if relevant, relationships, supports, and what they hope will change. The session also helps set the tone for treatment by talking about goals, expectations, and what support may look like moving forward. Most of all, they can expect a space where they do not need to have everything figured out, but can begin honestly from where they are.
