Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health professional with over 14 years of clinical experience and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. I work with youths and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, stress, identity concerns, substance use, and faith-related struggles. As a senior pastor for more than 24 years and a Christian therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting believers who desire their faith to be respected and thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process, creating space for healing that addresses emotional, relational, and spiritual needs. I offer telehealth services for residents in Connecticut, South Carolina, and Florida.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and integrative. I use evidence-based therapeutic practices while remaining attentive to the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. For clients who desire it, I incorporate prayer, Scripture, and faith-based reflection into sessions in a respectful, client-led, and clinically appropriate manner. Faith is never imposed, but when clients identify Christianity as central to their life, we can explore how biblical truth, prayer, and spiritual practices can support healing, growth, and resilience. I believe therapy can be a space where emotional insight and spiritual wisdom work together, helping clients move toward greater freedom, clarity, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment where we focus on understanding what brings them to therapy and what they hope will change. We will discuss current concerns, personal goals, and relevant background at a pace that feels comfortable. I will also explain my therapeutic approach, answer any questions, and collaboratively identify next steps. For clients who value faith, we can discuss how they would like prayer or Scripture incorporated going forward. Above all, the first session is about establishing trust, safety, and a shared direction—so clients leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.
