Great to meet you!

In my practice, I work with individuals and families facing the challenges of special needs children and adults, especially Autism Spectrum/Asperger’s Disorder. Daily stress and life transitions can feel overwhelming. With compassion and patience, I also support those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction or chronic mental illness, focusing not just on recovery, but on rebuilding confidence, hope, and self-worth. At the heart of my practice is helping people rediscover who they are beneath their pain; learning to treat themselves with kindness, rebuild trust in themselves, and find their way back to self-love.

My approach to therapy

What sets my practice apart is a gentle use of creativity in the healing process. Music and writing are woven in as ways to express emotions that are hard to talk about. Listening to a song that captures a feeling, writing through a difficult moment, or just letting creativity lead the way are tools to help clients connect more deeply with their healing.

What you can expect from me

Our first session would likely include a discussion of the problems or issues that have brought you to therapy and that you want to address. Some review of your background would likely occur and you may wish to identify some issues from the past that continue to trouble you. However, we will not delve too deeply into to these at the beginning.

I believe healing begins with feeling truly understood. I offer a welcoming, down-to-earth space where people can speak openly, reflect honestly, and begin to make sense of what they’re carrying. In thoughtful talk-therapy, clients are encouraged to explore their experiences without fear of judgment, building trust and clarity one conversation at a time.
