Great to meet you!

I’m Eric. I’m a licensed professional counselor. I’ve worked with adults and juveniles in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I have also worked in the correctional setting providing services to inmates of a county jail. Many of my clients are cisgender males but I have also treated many for issues related to sexuality and/or LGBTQ+ identity, men’s issues, anxiety, depression, and ADHD with related concerns.

My approach to therapy

After deciding to work together, we’ll develop an individualized plan to reach your therapeutic goals. In our partnership to reach these goals, we must maintain open communication. Inside the safety of this partnership, I will hear, support, and challenge you. I rely on my diverse educational background that includes Art History, forensic psychology, and existential psychology to assist in identifying and delivering insights.

What you can expect from me

The first session is when we introduce ourselves and you’ll have a chance to share your story. Then, we can discuss what you hope to achieve and start setting goals. My hope is that you’ll come away from this meeting having seen a more philosophic approach to psychology and how it makes therapy different.
