Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can be a big step, especially when you’ve spent a long time trying to manage things on your own. Maybe you’re carrying experiences from the past that still affect you today, finding yourself stuck in patterns you don’t understand, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or trying to navigate a major transition in life. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, make sense of what you’ve been through, and better understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped you.

After completing my clinical training at the University of Southern California, I have spent the past five years providing therapy to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. My work has focused on supporting people through trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. While therapy often involves difficult conversations, I believe there is also room for authenticity, humor, and moments of levity along the way.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel like a collaboration, not a set of instructions handed down by someone who thinks they have all the answers. Every person brings their own history, personality, and way of seeing the world, and our work together should reflect that. We’ll start by building a genuine connection and creating a space where you can be honest, curious, and comfortable being yourself. From there, we’ll tailor our work together around your individual needs, goals, and experiences, drawing from different therapeutic approaches to create a process that feels meaningful and effective for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together is an opportunity to get to know you, your story, your experiences, and what brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll take time to understand what you’ve been navigating while I gather a fuller picture of your history and the different areas of your life that have shaped who you are today. From there, we’ll work together to identify goals that feel meaningful to you and create a direction for our work moving forward.

If you’re unsure where to begin or feeling nervous about the process, I can help provide structure, direction, and support as we figure out where to start. If you already have a sense of what you’d like to work on, I’m happy to listen, follow your lead, and build from there.
