Great to meet you!

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in repetitive patterns or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own, I want you to know that you do not have to carry it all alone.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, including 4 as a Clinical Supervisor, I specialize in helping adults and older adolescents navigate life's heaviest transitions, anxiety and trauma. Because of my extensive background managing a high case list and assisting other clinicians with treatment, I provide an incredibly grounded, structured and clinically effective treatment where your safety and progress are the absolute highest priorities.

My clients know me as a deeply honest, protective, collaborative, resourceful and empathetic therapist. I am not about checking boxes, I am about treating the individual in front of me. I focus on meeting you where you are at in life with tailored clinical care. Let's work together to cut through the noise and get you back to feeling like yourself, or the self that you want to be.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is not just about venting or endless talking, it is structured, evidence-based and deeply collaborative.

To help you achieve measurable progress, I draw from a diverse and advanced clinical toolkit tailored to your specific needs. I am fully trained in specialized trauma-processing modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Progressive Counting. These modalities allow us to heal painful past experiences without getting or feeling stuck in years of talking about the trauma.

In addition to trauma work, I incorporate Schema Therapy and Transactional Analysis to help you uncover and break deeply rooted, lifelong behavioral patterns and communication styles. I balance these deeper insights with practical, present-focused strategies using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help you build immediate coping skills and clarify your personal goals.

Together, we won't just talk about the problems-we will actively work on solutions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is entirely about collaboration, comfort and building a road map for your growth. We will not be spending our time filling out cold medical checklists; instead, we will focus on humanizing the intake process so you feel safe and heard from day one.

During the first 50 minutes together, we will:

  1. Explore your goals: We will explore and map out what meaningful progress looks like for you.
  2. Review your history: We will safely look at background context of your life to understand how past experiences are influencing your present.
  3. Build a game plan: We will begin an outline for an integrated treatment approach. Whether this means pacing out trauma-processing with EMDR or using CBT with building your resource tool kit.

You will always walk away from our very first meeting with a clear, actionable plan and a solid understanding of how we are going to work together to reach your goals. While intake sessions can feel overwhelming or intimidating, it is my priority to make sure you walk away feeling the combination of motivated, supported and hopeful.
