Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a longstanding interest in the intersection of creativity and emotional well-being. I pursued graduate training in creative arts therapy, where I developed a strong foundation in cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed approaches. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical and community settings, deepening my understanding of how to support individuals through life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. This journey continues to evolve as I integrate additional modalities like EMDR to provide more comprehensive care.

My approach to therapy

As a hospital clinician, I have dabbled in many different programs and specialties that inform my work in private practice. While my approach is humanistic by nature, I have pursued extensive training in CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. To further expand my practice, I recently competed basic training in EMDR, which has helped bring more depth to cognitive therapy. I maintain a strong network of other mental health professionals to hone in on my clinical strengths and better serve clients.

What you can expect from me

In my view, therapy is the one place in life where it’s all about you. As a client in my practice, you are encouraged to identify interests, recognize personal strengths, and prioritize your own values. Together we can incorporate the creative process to offer an alternative means for self-reflection and expression in treatment. My favorite part about this work is meeting people from different walks of life, and providing a way to keep you on track with yourself and others within your circle.
