Great to meet you!

I work with adults, couples, and teens, helping people untangle challenges that often feel overwhelming, interconnected, or hard to name. I believe most struggles don’t exist in isolation—they affect our relationships, our emotions, and how we move through the world. My role is to truly get to know you, understand your story, and support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

My background is both clinical and academic. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with graduate degrees in Philosophy and Sociology, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications. I’m also a doctoral candidate in Educational Psychology. This combination allows me to look at your concerns through emotional, relational, and systemic lenses—not just symptom-focused ones.

I specialize in trauma work, relationship therapy, and working with preteens and teens—who are often misunderstood but incredibly important to support early. I’ve trained in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, Art Therapy, and Conflict & Dispute Resolution. Above all, I value creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel real, collaborative, and actually helpful—not stiff or intimidating. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, with room for creativity and humor when appropriate. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; instead, we tailor the work to what you need.

I help clients build insight, learn practical skills, and repair emotional bonds—whether that’s within yourself or in your relationships. Trauma work is especially close to my heart, and I integrate EMDR, polyvagal-informed care, CBT, and art-based interventions to support healing and regulation.

For couples, I focus on connection, communication, and repair using Gottman and EFT frameworks.

You can expect honesty, warmth, curiosity, and compassion. Therapy with me is structured but flexible, supportive but challenging when needed—and always grounded in respect for your pace and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting grounded and getting to know each other—no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s feeling most important right now, and what you’re hoping therapy can help with. I’ll ask questions, listen closely, and help you begin organizing what may currently feel tangled or overwhelming. Similar to us sifting through a big puzzle together dumped on a table. We may not see connections right away, but eventually pieces begin to fit together!

We’ll also talk about how therapy can look moving forward and make sure this feels like a good fit for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but remember: every meaningful journey really does begin with the first step—and you don’t have to take it alone.
