Eric Sharp

I graduated with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and I have been practicing counseling in Ohio since October 2016. I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from 3 year old's struggling with social-emotional problems to late adults struggling with substance use disorders. I specialize in working with youth, teens, and young adults (ages 10-20), but I am fully capable of providing high quality services to those outside of that age range. I have also worked with clients struggling with a wide range of presenting problems, but my skills are best suited to help those struggling with low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.

I utilize evidence-based practices, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to aid clients in work through the difficulties of life in order to achieve their goals.

I will support each client's goals to better their lives and offer challenging opportunities in order to bring about positive change. Through a client-centered therapeutic relationship, I am able to develop rapport and maintain a safe space for growth to occur. My clients can expect to develop the skills necessary to help them overcome the challenges they are facing.
