Great to meet you!

I'm Eric, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Counseling from Arizona State University.

I bring diverse experience working with clients across the lifespan, from children as young as 8 to older adults. Throughout my career, I've assisted people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, ADHD, and various other challenges. I'm also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and am trained in EMDR therapy, through an EMDRIA approved program.

My experience includes work as an outpatient counselor, community-based therapist, and clinical training at a mental health hospital where I gained experience across multiple care levels.

For younger clients, I'm happy to collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure comprehensive support both in and outside the classroom.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, focused on creating a warm, judgment-free space where you feel truly heard and valued. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect.

I draw from evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address various concerns. Think of our work together as building a custom toolkit just for you – we'll find the strategies and approaches that work best for your unique situation.

During our sessions, we'll begin with a relaxed first meeting to get acquainted, discuss what's on your mind, and clarify what you'd like to achieve. This time is all about you, so feel free to ask questions as we form a plan tailored to your specific needs.

What you can expect from me

Through our work together, you can expect to:

  • Gain deeper self-awareness and understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  • Develop practical coping skills to manage life's challenges
  • Process difficult experiences in a safe, supportive environment
  • Build resilience and strengthen your ability to navigate future obstacles
  • Experience reduced symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma
  • Improve relationships and communication skills

Whether you're seeking support during a difficult transition, looking to heal from past trauma, or wanting to improve your overall well-being, I'm committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
