Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Eric. I’m a therapist who believes healing begins through curiosity, compassion, and connection. I’m trained in Psychodynamic Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), for which I’ve completed Level 1 training. My background combines depth-oriented and evidence-based approaches to support healing from trauma, relational struggles, and patterns that no longer serve you.

I’m passionate about working with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and others who have felt marginalized or unseen, exploring how systems of oppression and cultural messages shape how we experience ourselves. As a person living with a connective-tissue disorder (Hypermobile EDS), I bring lived understanding to my work with clients navigating chronic pain, disability, or invisible illness.

Originally from New England and now based in Colorado, I love camping, being in nature, playing chess, and spending time with my dog, Stella.

My approach to therapy

I work from a collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed lens. My approach integrates psychodynamic insight, understanding how past experiences shape present patterns, with somatic awareness and parts work through EMDR and IFS. Together, we slow down to notice the emotions, beliefs, and protective responses that have helped you survive, while creating space for new ways of being that feel more grounded and free.

I value authenticity and trust, and I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine relationship, one where all parts of you are welcome. My work often centers on helping clients build self-compassion, deepen emotional awareness, and reconnect with their sense of agency and wholeness.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you, what brings you here, what’s been feeling difficult, and what you’re hoping might change. I’ll ask questions at a gentle pace, making space for you to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We’ll talk about your goals for therapy and begin to explore what a supportive and safe environment looks like for you.

My hope is that you’ll leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more grounded in the possibility that change is possible. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect; feel free to reach out or send me a message to see if we might be a good fit.
