Great to meet you!

You may be exhausted from carrying anxiety, trauma, or experiences that continue to affect your life long after they happened. Maybe you've spent years pushing through on your own, but you're ready for something to change.

As a Veteran and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 12 years of experience, I've worked with individuals in community mental health, residential treatment, psychiatric settings, and crisis care. I believe every person has the capacity for resilience and meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we better understand what's contributing to your struggles, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move toward greater peace, confidence, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, practical, and centered around you, not just your symptoms. I don't believe you're broken. Many people develop ways of surviving difficult experiences that eventually stop serving them. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand those patterns, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether you're navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, or a major life transition, our work will be tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and pace. My goal is to help you build practical skills that continue supporting your growth long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out. Our first session is simply a conversation about what brought you here, the challenges you're facing, and what you'd like life to look like moving forward. Together, we'll begin building a plan that reflects your goals and the changes you want to make.

You can expect a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. My hope is that each session leaves you with greater clarity, healthier coping skills, increased confidence, and practical tools you can use outside of therapy. My goal isn't simply to help you feel better for today, but to help you build lasting change for the future.
