Great to meet you!

I enjoy helping others heal from trauma, anxiety, and life transitions through compassionate, evidence-based therapy.

Every person has the capacity for resilience and meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we explore your experiences, identify obstacles, and build on your strengths. Therapy is not about "fixing" you, but it's about helping you reconnect with you.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Veteran, and mental health professional with more than 12 years of experience, I've worked with individuals across community mental health, residential treatment, psychiatric settings, home-based services, and crisis care. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your struggles, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move toward greater peace, confidence, and lasting emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, practical, and centered around you—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Every person brings a unique story, and my role is to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and help you create meaningful change at a pace that feels right.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, self-esteem challenges, cultural concerns, or major life transitions, we'll develop practical skills that support healing long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out. During our first session, we'll spend time understanding what brought you here, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope life looks like moving forward.

You can expect a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment where your experiences are heard and your goals matter. Together, we'll create a realistic plan, strengthen healthy coping skills, and work toward lasting change so you can feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life.
