Great to meet you!

I'm Erica Bader — a licensed psychotherapist and registered yoga instructor with 12 years of experience working with adults and couples. In 2020, I founded my private practice with one simple intention: to offer therapy that tends to the whole person, not just the presenting problem.

My work is rooted in mindfulness and somatic awareness, meaning we pay attention to what's happening in both your mind and your body. I draw on evidence-based approaches including MBCT, IFS, and ACT to support people navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and self-esteem concerns.

I believe therapy should be a space that holds everyone — I am committed to providing affirming, informed care for clients of all backgrounds and identities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Curious about how we might work together? I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect before committing to anything. I'd love to hear from you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and tailored to you — meaning I don't rely on one single method but draw from whatever combination of tools feels most useful for your goals. I use mindfulness as a home base, helping clients develop nonjudgmental awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.

I also incorporate somatic therapy, which means we pay attention to how stress and emotion live in the body — not just the mind. This is particularly powerful for trauma, anxiety, and patterns that feel stuck despite years of traditional talk therapy. Sessions are collaborative, paced to your comfort, and grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when we tend to the whole self.

What you can expect from me

The first intake session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to learn more about what brings you to therapy, a brief history relating to your reasons for seeking support, and what you're hoping to get from our work together. At the end of our first session, I'll share a sense of what our work together might look like going forward — so you leave with clarity, not just more questions.

Before the intake I recommend scheduling a free 15-minute consultation call — it's a low-pressure conversation to answer any logistical questions and make sure we feel like a good fit. There's no commitment required.
