Great to meet you!

My ideal clients are adolescents transitioning into adulthood through older adults (approximately ages 18–80) who are navigating substance use challenges, trauma histories, and mild to moderate depressive symptoms. They often experience recurring crises, difficulty with independent living skills, and unresolved trauma that impacts daily functioning and relationships. They need a safe, consistent, and trauma-informed therapeutic space that supports emotional regulation, stability, skill-building, and healing. Their goals include reducing substance use, processing trauma, strengthening coping and life skills, and improving mood.

I help by providing a trauma-informed, collaborative approach to therapy that honors each client’s lived experience and recognizes them as the expert in their own life. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and improve emotional regulation and functioning.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of managing everything on your own, you don’t have to do this alone. I offer a supportive, respectful space to help you heal, build skills, and move toward stability—reach out when you’re ready.

My approach to therapy

I commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR in my practice. We will explore what brought you to therapy and collaboratively determine the most appropriate interventions to support progress. Through CBT, we examine how thought patterns influence emotions and experiences, and treatment focuses on developing skills to challenge negative beliefs.

What you can expect from me

On your first day of therapy with me, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you’re met exactly as you are. We’ll move at your pace. I’ll take time to get to know you—what brought you in, what feels heavy right now, and what you’re hoping for—while also making sure you feel safe, heard, and respected. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words or to share everything at once.

My role is to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences and strengths. I’ll be transparent about the process, check in about what feels helpful, and offer support and tools that fit you—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is your space, and from day one, my goal is for you to leave feeling a little more grounded, supported, and less alone.
