Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Erica Carranza, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I believe mental health care should be just as normalized and valued as caring for our physical health. Therapy can be a place to slow down, process what you’re carrying, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I’m passionate about helping people better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the balance and healing they’re looking for.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I recognize that every person’s story is unique, so therapy is tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches while also focusing on authenticity, compassion, and building a strong therapeutic relationship.

I believe healing happens through both insight and action. Together, we’ll explore patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools to help you navigate daily life with more confidence and emotional clarity.

What you can expect from me

Clients often describe my style as supportive, approachable, and encouraging. I aim to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself without fear of judgment. Whether you’re working through anxiety, past trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable and productive for you.

Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate things alone. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step toward healing and growth. Tiny human brains trying to survive modern life were not exactly designed for Slack notifications, unresolved childhood wounds, and doomscrolling simultaneously. Therapy helps.
