Great to meet you!

As a psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore identity, navigate relationships, heal from trauma, and cope with the stressors of living in a world whose demands can feel mounting.

I have experience working with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, and personal and professional life transitions. I also specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and first responders/caregivers who often struggle to find a therapeutic space that feels both safe and truly understanding.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe healing happens in relationship including with ourselves, with our bodies, & with those we trust. My work is informed by interpersonal process, relational psychodynamic therapy, & trauma-informed care. It is rooted in intersectionality, a knowledge of how systems & their expectations impact us, and a deep respect for each client's unique story.

What you can expect from our first session

When working with a client in therapy, I prioritize a collaborative and client-centered approach to setting goals and identifying desired outcomes. In the initial stages of our work together, I create a safe and supportive environment where the client feels empowered to share their concerns, values, and aspirations. From there, we explore the areas of life they would like to change or improve, helping them articulate specific, meaningful, and realistic goals.

Throughout the therapeutic process, I regularly review goals with the client to assess progress, celebrate achievements, and adjust objectives if needed. This ongoing dialogue reinforces the client’s agency in their healing journey and ensures that therapy remains purposeful, relevant, and responsive to their evolving needs."
